Tiziana Longo, based in Berlin and co-founder of Motimaru Dance Company since 2010, is a performing artist, choreographer and dancer. In 2021 she won DIS-Tanzsolo by Dachverband Tanz for a book now in completion and with "Acqua"(2021) the support for a site specific performance project on a boat for "Uber Wasser" Festival supported by Bezirk Neukölln. In the search for innovative performance new settings and engaged in how to create a vibrant Performance's "Body" by analyzing common "bios" -principles- between East and West , after living a long time in Asia, her work focused on breath and embodiment, between stillness and movement flow. Over the past 17 years, she has been teaching and performing in Berlin and in more than 30 cities in Europe, Australia, and Japan. She has performed at the 2010 Venice Biennale in Italy, at "No Ballet" in Ludwigshafen 2014, at "Lucky Trimmer" International Dance Festival in Berlin 2016, "Dance ga Mittai" Contemporary Dance Festival in Tokyo 2016, "Oulu Dance Festival in Finland 2016, etc.
